How to deal with the fungus on the ceiling in the bathroom

Do not feel sorry for them, because you can put a new piece of cloth in this place. Rip off gently so that invisible spores do not scatter around the room and do not hit the walls.

In the case of a painted ceiling, everything is a bit simpler. If the surface is not slightly affected, then it makes no sense to rip off all the paint. You can wipe a place with a damp, hard sponge, affected with a fungus, then brush it with an additional brush and allow to dry.

If it is a ceiling tile, then it is important not to miss the moment when the mold is just beginning to develop. Otherwise, you will have to completely remove all the tiles and check their reverse side for lesions. In any case, you will have to remove several tiles.

2. A solution of chlorine water. To do this, take and dilute in water concentrate or chlorine powder. The proportion is about 50:50. The solution is applied to the surface for 10-15 minutes, then carefully washed with water and dried with an open window.
3. A solution of copper sulfate is considered to be very effective in combating the fungus. It is necessary to observe the proportion (approximately 100 grams of vitriol per 10 liters of water). It is desirable to warm the water so that it is warm. After completely dissolving the vitreous powder in water, apply the resulting liquid to the affected area for approximately 25 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
4. If the mold hit the surface slightly, you can use boiling water. But work with it should be carefully, if the surface of the ceiling is highly susceptible to deformation. With boiling water, the surface must be treated several times to destroy the maximum amount of spores of the fungus.

It is important to know also some measures that contribute to the prevention of mold formation. They should be tried to observe even when you completely killed the fungus in the room. Such measures include frequent airing and ventilation of the bathroom. To do this, it is best to install special moisture absorbers and good venting points.
