Applying this method, it should be taken into account that the mixture for leveling is characterized by such parameter as the minimum permissible thickness of the layer. It is taken into account by calculating the amount of raising the floor level. Convenient use of such formulations repeatedly covers such a conventional flaw.
Putty with PVA-base
This method is quite popular at the moment. Putty allows to level the territory of premises that have a large area. And the cost of material includes such works as economically attractive.

Screed with a mix of PVA and wood sawdust is stacked in the following order. In advance, the cleaned floor is set with beacons according to the level.

When a significant thickness of putty is needed, the material is applied in 2-3 layers, each layer 1-2 cm. The next layer is applied after the drying and shrinkage of the previous layer.
The produced surface is controlled by a level. Where required, additives of filler fillings are reported.
The main disadvantage of this option is a large time cost for drying PVA, an insufficient quality class for the subsequent finishing of the finish.
However, this approach for leveling is advisable when there is a need for material savings for construction, and in the future a thin and less expensive plywood will be used.
Application of plywood
With this method, with the observance of all the recommendations for the quality of work, a perfectly flat rough surface is obtained, which allows to assemble absolutely any finishing material.
Most of all, this approach of equalization justifies itself when the boards are leveled for laying the laminate. For this, the plywood is purchased with a 4/4 grade FC and more (not less than 12 mm thick). But if the floor is sufficiently leveled, enough leaves 8-10 mm.
