Installation begins with a marking of places of fastening of a false ceiling. If the ceiling is level, without slopes, then at the necessary height on all walls a horizontal line is drawn, which will serve as a guide for fixing the U-shaped profile. One of the advantages of the rack ceiling is that under it you can hide passing communication systems or other irregularities. If there is nothing on the ceiling of the bathroom that should be hidden from the eyes, then the suspended ceiling is lowered only by 50 mm. From the corners of the wall on both sides, lay 5 cm and with a drill make holes for the fasteners for the profile. Other holes for the fasteners are drilled in 50 cm steps. Using a self-tapping screw or dowel, a U-shaped profile is attached. After the entire profile has been completely fixed, proceed to the fastening of the suspensions. Suspensions may be different, but for convenience it is better to use adjustable ones. This function will easily adjust (level) the surface of the ceiling. Suspensions are fixed with a step of 1 m relative to each other, and the distance from the wall to the extreme hangers is 40 cm.

After fixing all the suspensions begin to install stringers. Between the stringer and the wall there should be a gap of up to 1 cm. The gap will ensure that the stretch ceiling is not deformed due to the temperature difference in the room.

Mounting and installation

The standard length of the rail is 3 or 4 m. The fastening process starts with cutting the panels to the size of the room. With the slats remove the protective film and insert between the teeth of the stringer. A click is used to confirm that the rack is fixed. Thus, the entire ceiling is "recruited". The installation is completed most often by the fact that the last rail needs to be made already. For this, having retreated the required distance, an incision is made along the length of the clerical knife. On the part to be cut, perpendicular incisions are made and the obtained pieces are broken off (by flexion-extensor movements). After getting rid of the excess reiki, its cut edge is inserted into the wall profile.

For ease of installation, it is recommended that you first put the last, and then the penultimate, rail.

If an open suspended ceiling system was chosen, the slots between the racks are closed with inserts.

If the area of ​​the room is large, then for an accurate docking of the laths it is necessary to additionally purchase intermediate inserts.

Between the main and suspended ceiling, it is necessary to lay an electrical cable for the fixtures and determine their location. In the place where the lamp will be installed, make a mark and outline the diameter of the required circle of the hole under the lamp. A clerical knife from the center of the diameter of the marked circle makes a cut to its edge. The obtained sectors are not broken off, but are bent inside.

When installing a false ceiling, the slats should be correctly positioned. Preferably, they are located along the direction of the incident light from the window. But if the room is corridor-type, then it is better to mount the stripes of racks across, which will allow to visually expand the room. A square room can be painted unusually, if the panels are arranged diagonally.
